Thanks to the strengthening high pressure over the Mediterranean, Monday will be characterized by stable and sunny weather in most of Italy, apart from some cloud cover in the North-West. The climate will be spring-like in the North with highs of up to 25 degrees, at times even hot in the Centre-South with highs of up to 27-28 degrees. On Tuesday we will see a worsening of the weather in Sardinia, in the North-West and at the end of the day also in Sicily due to the approach of a new disturbance (the 10th of the month); in the rest of Italy it will still be a sunny and warm day. On Wednesday 1st May the disturbance will cross much of Italy with also possible thunderstorms in the centre-south. The weather will probably remain disturbed and rainy also in the second part of the week. This new worsening of weather conditions will lead to a reduction in temperatures starting from Wednesday, especially in the North and in the Tyrrhenian regions where we will return below seasonal averages.
