“I’m very happy because fortunately I managed to do a third run without errors – he says Salvatore Venanzio – I have to say that this is also the first time in Sardinia under the sun after years competing in bad weather. We did a reconnaissance to study the route well because in dry conditions we knew it would be different from the past. During the first heat we had problems with the differential which we immediately fixed and this allowed us to do a second heat to get points and then the third in which I gave the best I could.”

“Today the day didn’t start in the best way – declares the second place Salvatore Arresta– already in the first heat we broke the chain at the start, in the second I was first overall and in the last we made a change which unfortunately put us not on the right track. But if we look at the Italian Championship as the first race, second place overall is an excellent result.”

“All in all it’s a good result – Luigi Vinaccia on the third step of the podium – in the reconnaissance we set the best time which then increased in the first heat, in the second and third we used new tires which however did not give the feedback I should have had to lower the time I had recorded with the old tires. We didn’t understand the reason for this difference, perhaps we made some wrong maneuvers. However, all in all I am happy, it is a very fast and very demanding route, which required a good performance.”
