The Italian Cup is the trophy awarded annually by the Women’s Basketball League. Created in 1968, participation was only possible upon request. Discontinued in the period 1975-1983 and since 1985, it was reintroduced in 1993 with different formulas. It is currently assigned with a Final Eight concentrated in a single venue.
