The passage between the two cities will take place officially on May 11th at Turin Book Fairbetween the press conference to present the project Taurianova Capital of the Bookon May 2nd, and the official inauguration of the exhibition, on May 16th, with the reopening of the municipal library “A. Renda” and the start of the exhibition “Taurianova Law”.
Organized by the Municipality of the Ligurian capital and by the Cultural Association Beyond the border and the participation of the Municipality of Taurianova and the Calabria regionthe event which ended yesterday united Genoa and Taurianova for two days in a fruitful exchange of cultural and literary suggestions.
Like Friday on Representative Hall Of Tursi Palaceyesterday was the stage of Hall of the Maggior Consiglio Of Ducal Palace to host the presentation of two books: “The restless atom” Of Mimmo Gangemi And “A happy country” Of Carmine Abatebefore the passing of the baton in the presence of the mayor of Genoa, Marco Buccithe mayor and the councilor for culture of Taurianova, respectively Rocco Biasi And Maria Girolama Fedeleof the director of the Doge’s Palace Ilaria Bonacossa. Also present was the president of the Calabria Film Commission Foundation Anton Giulio Great.
The ceremony it ended with a performance by the Calabrian pianist Beatrice Zoccalithe highest representative in Italy of Francesco Cileathe composer born in Palmi and famous for the opera Adriana Lecouvreur.
