Apple is certainly going through a less rosy period than many others. Here’s the latest bitter news that wasn’t pleasant at all.
Who knows and loves the Apple knows well that this is a house that has always made its mark on innovation trademark. After all, you can’t help but think about the impact it has always had on the market by introducing historic products like the macbook air or theiPhone.
Nonetheless, in recent times, the Cupertino house seems not to be sailing in exactly golden waters. And all due to a decline in sales that is becoming increasingly significant and which in recent days has led to a new, bitter, discovery.
Apple and the latest bitter discovery about sales
Every year, we tend to make an estimate of a company’s total revenues and sales in order to understand where to act to improve things and identify any weak points that over time can prove to be quite dangerous. In the case of Apple, the latest statistics are truly unfavorable. It seems, in fact, that iPhone sales in China dropped by almost 20% between January and March 2024, reaching numbers even worse than those that emerged during the pandemic.
In fact, Apple finds itself clashing against giants such as Hyawei which in recent years has been increasingly gaining ground not only in China but throughout the world. All this translates into a third place in sales for the Cupertino company it is not at all desirable given that for a long time the only one known was the one on the podium.
It is, therefore, a really dark period for Apple which in this period is increasingly reviewing the products on offer and not just with regards to telephony. It seems, however, that attention to the devices is not enough and that to gain more consensus and increase sales it is necessary to focus on something else. In fact, more and more users are complaining about the costs being too high (although often justified by efficient assistance and product quality).
At the same time there are problems such as iCloud which allows increasingly smaller storage space unless you sign up for a subscription. In short, among the latest European standards to which Apple had to adapt and the decline in sales in China, the period is certainly not the best.
From Cupertino, however, they are definitely working to improve the situation and there will certainly be news about it soon. Meanwhile, it is clear that there are competitors to keep an eye on and to take as a point of reference to return to the dawn of the past.
