A. is emerging very positive weekend for Italian beach volleyball who placed a pair Bianchin/Scampoli, in the final of the Pingtan Future and a couple, Krumins/Caminati, coming from the qualifiers, in their first tournament as a couple, in the semifinals of the Future in Madrid.
The journey starts again from here, from China Margherita Bianchin and Claudia Scampoli who will have a fundamental stop in the Nations Cup where Italy will try to centralize the difficult objective of adding a pair to Menegatti/Gottardi in the Olympic contingent. The Italians have reached a prestigious final and will face it at 1.30 pm the Chinese Bai/Wang who immediately entered the final in their first tournament together. Wang is a very experienced player, 30 years old, in her fifteenth season on the world circuit, she has a victory behind her (two years ago in Lubijana) and eight second places on the world circuit, while Bai has recently started frequenting the sand, despite she is also 30 years old.
Bianchin/Scampoli beat another Chinese pair, Wang/Zhang, 2-0 in the quarter-finals. suffering quite a bit in the first set, won 26-24 after canceling a couple of set balls from their rivals and then dominating the second set, won with a score of 21-12. There was no match, however, between the Italians and the representatives of Vanuatu Matauatu/Lawac in the semi-final. The Italian pair has always been ahead and won with a double 21-14 which leaves no room for discussion.

In Madrid Marco Caminati and Davis Krumins have reached the semi-final of the Spanish Future and, at 11.30, they will face the French couple Chouikh/Altwies who won the Lille Futures last year and is making his debut this season. The Italian couple reached the semi-finals beating the Israeli duo of Hadar/Lanciano 2-1 in the quarterfinals. Having won the first set quite easily 21-17, Caminati/Krumins encountered a moment of difficulty, losing the second set with the same score but found themselves in time to literally dominate the tie break, won 15-8.
