Thibau Nys is growing and literally forging ahead: the Belgian talent from Lidl Trek repeated yesterday’s success 24 hours later and won the fourth stage of the Tour of Hungary, the Budapest – Etyek of 166.6 km. Nys preceded Marc Hirschi and Yanniclk Voisard with Diego Ulissi eighth. And with today’s success Nys further strengthens its leadership in the general classification.
«I don’t know if I’ve ever had legs like these before. I was completely dying in the last 150 metres, when I turned and saw Hirschi coming… I really feared that he might beat me but he also had the same energy as me. I want to thank my Team, they did everything perfectly to put me in the right position and gave me a lot of confidence. This victory is as much mine as it is the team’s.”
