The program for Friday 10 May at the Foro Italico in Rome includes the debut of the remaining main seeds in the women’s draw and the first Bigs, however, in the men’s main draw. Another day in which the Italians will be great protagonists: a total of 13 Azzurri will take the field at the Italian Internationals between singles and doubles.

On the central, Lorenzo Musetti will open the dance together with the Frenchman Terence Atmane, coming from the qualifiers, from 11am. Then it will be the turn of the reigning champion Elena Rybakina to face the Romanian Begu.

Then, Elisabetta Cocciaretto will have to deal with the Transalpine Caroline Garcia (22nd seed), in a complicated but not impossible match. Evening session with number one Novak Djokovic, ready to make his debut and challenge the lucky loser Corentin Moutet (he defeated Roman Safiullin in three sets), and the number 11 seed Jasmine Paolini, awaiting a difficult match against the Egyptian Sherif .

Many other Italians on the pitch

On the Grand Stand Luciano Darderi will have a rather complicated match against the surprising Argentine Mariano Navone. The two will battle around 1pm, after Sakkari-Gracheva. This will be followed by an interesting comparison between Flavio Cobolli and the American Sebastian Korda.

Closing entrusted to number one Aryna Sabalenka, opposite the American Katie Volynets. On the Pietrangeli the last two matches of the day will concern the Azzurri: Sara Errani will face the Ukrainian Svitolina, while the wild card Matteo Gigante will have to deal with Francisco Cerundolo.

Francesco Passaro has instead been placed on pitch 2: opposite him will be the tough Dutchman Tallon Griekspoor. Alexander Zverev and Casper Ruud are also ready to make their debuts.
