Clio Zammatteo, alias ClioMakeUp, speaks today in an interview with Republic of how she became a social network star: «After finishing high school I enrolled in a video design course in Milan where I met my husband, Claudio Midolo. I wasn’t a video editing genius, but I realized that I enjoyed doing my classmates’ makeup for video clips. So three months after graduation we moved to New York, where I attended a makeup artist school and opened the YouTube channel.” But things became serious «around 2014, when we opened the blog. But until the launch of my cosmetic line in 2017 I didn’t know if it would last, there were so many meteors on social media.”
Weight loss
He also talks about his tearful video from a few months ago: «Matters too personal to talk about. I just wanted to say that even in my life there can be difficult moments and that not everything we see on social media is perfect.” She adds that «there was a period in which my community perceived my weight loss as positive. In fact I was so sad I couldn’t even eat.” Then he talks about the blepharoplasty operation which corrected his drooping eyelid and was highly criticized: «Many people told me that from being a champion of acceptance I would become plastic like all the others, but after the operation they recognize that it is not noticeable. almost the difference.”

The choice to carry out the operation, explains ClioMakeUp, was free even if many criticized it: «They accelerated an operation that was already scheduled. I’ve had droopy eyelids forever and over time they would only get worse.” Then she explains why her daughters appear little on social networks: «When I got pregnant for the first time I had no idea what was right to share. I recently realized that when we go out and about people recognize my eldest daughter even before me and she doesn’t like this. They themselves ask me not to photograph them.”
