BLAZE BAYLEYfrontman of IRON MAIDEN between 1994 and 1999, will be live on the stage of Metal For Emergency 2024 at Filagosto in Filago (BG) on Saturday 3 Augustfor the “XXX Iron Maiden Anniversary”, as a special guest before the KORPIKLAANI. The well-known festival of the genre is now in its eleventh edition, pre-sales available on the official Ciaotickets circuit, entry €5.
BLAZE BAYLEYmember of the Metal Hall of Fame, will be in Italy for the 30th anniversary of his membership IRON MAIDENfor a celebratory concert with a branded lineup MAIDEN.
Singer-songwriter born in 1963 from the West Midlands in England, he began as a professional singer with i WOLFSBANE in 1984 and later became the frontman of IRON MAIDEN between 1994 and 1999, touring around the world and releasing two studio albums: “The X Factor” And “Virtual XI“, both of which reached the TOP 20 in many countries. During his time with the IRON MAIDEN, BLAZE co-wrote the single “Man On The Edge” (from the album “The X Factor“), a top ten hit in the UK, as well as charting successfully across Europe.
After the years of MAIDEN, BLAZE has forged a solo career, proving himself to be both a prolific songwriter and performer, with twelve full-length studio albums spanning the years 2000 to 2024, as well as a number of live and unplugged releases. Blaze’s first solo studio album was the now legendary “Silicon Messiah” in 2000 and to date his most recent is the acclaimed “Circle of Stone” (February 2024). His latest live recording is “Damaged Strange Different and Live” (July 2023).
His commitment to touring around the world and his relationship with his fans is second to none and since 2014 Blaze has enjoyed a consistent stint performing and recording with his band ABSOLVA and together they have garnered frequent praise, not least from some spectacular festival appearances such as Sweden Rock, Headbangers Open Air (Germany) and Rock The Coast (Spain).
Following a heart attack and heart bypass surgery in the first half of 2023, BLAZE successfully resumes live concerts from October/November 2023, followed by a UK tour with WOLFSBANE in November/December. In 2024 the celebrations for the 30th anniversary of its membership begin IRON MAIDENwhile also touring with the album “Circle of Stone“. The schedule looks exciting and busy, with many concerts sold out during the first few months of 2024.
