L’Eurovision Song Contest 2024 is upon us, and among the singers who will compete on the stage of Malmo Arena there are already some names favorites. Who is Baby Lasagna

Baby Lasagna, pseudonym of, then takes the field Marko Purišić, is a singer-songwriter born in Umag on 5 July 1995. A lover of music since childhood, the singer began playing the guitar in a rock band, the Manntras. It was thanks to his work together with the band that he began to make himself known in Croatia. Marko Purišić he remained part of the band from 2011 to 2019, the year in which participating in Dorathe competition that could have gotten them into Eurovision, with the song In the Shadowsbut they only finish fourth.
In 2023, the singer decides to start a solo career using his own pseudonym Baby Lasagna, the reason for which, however, is not known. The music of Baby Lasagna is told as a mix of sounds industrial metal and electro, which accompany humorous lyrics that have theaim to make you think. On the official page of the Eurovision website, Baby Lasagna is described like this: “Using what he sees as predictable arrangement standards of the music industry, Marko tries, for those who listen carefully, to convey a deeper message about the worries and suffering of our environment. Baby Lasagna’s mission is to entertain you by drawing attention to social challenges and spiritual of individuals and society.”
