In a recent interview with the podcast TalkLouder and reported by Blabbermouth, the guitarist Phil Demmel stated the following about Kerry King of the SLAYER:
“I am sure of one thing, that is that he is a direct guy and that he knows what he wants. He’s not one to beat around the bush.
He has this reputation of being a big asshole but he really isn’t. He is a good person and is also empathetic and caring. He’s not a finger in the ass. He’s simply someone who says what he thinks without filters. I wish people understood this. Ok, he might come off as an asshole but that’s not his intent. He is someone who tells you: ‘I don’t tell you bullshit, I tell you things like they are.’
KERRY KING will release his first solo album “From Hell I Rise“ on May 17, 2024 on Reigning Phoenix Music. The album was produced by Josh Wilbur (LAMB OF GOD, ALL THAT REMAINS).
