Young Tariq St. Patrick’s final descent into New York’s criminal underbelly is about to take place, despite all his late father’s efforts to build a better life for him away from that world. Starz released the official trailer of the fourth and final season of Power Book II: Ghostthe sequel to Power centered on Ghost’s son, his true killer. The episodes will arrive on TV on June 7th and in Italy they will be available in streaming on MGM+.

In the final season of Power Book II: Ghost, Tariq (played by Michael Rainey Jr.) will have Noma, Effy and the Tejadas on his tail and only the support of his longtime friend and business partner Brayden (Gianni Paolo). As if that weren’t enough, there’s a new enemy in town: Detective Don Carter (Michael Ealy, Stumptown), an emerging figure within the police department who was on track to become commissioner until his wife was killed in the crossfire between rival drug gangs.
Vowing to make the streets safer, Carter swapped his tie for a bulletproof vest and now leads an elite police task force that is making real gains in the fight against drug-related violence. “I know who you are and I will put you where you belong,” warns the man in the trailer. And with threats coming from all sides, it’s no wonder Tariq goes so far as to declare “I must become the ultimate predator.” He and Brayden will have to form new alliances and find a way to get back into the game after Noma’s “trip” (Caroline Chikezie). But when Brayden begins to flirt with a reckless new lifestyle, Tariq wonders if there’s really room for them both at the top.
