Poppy Playtime is teaming up with Legendary Entertainment to bring his spooky tale to the big screen. The game continues to be a huge success on PC, PlayStation, Nintendo Switch, mobile, and Roblox, so a theatrical release is no oddity.
THE co-founders of Mob Entertainment (game authors)Seth Belanger and Zach Belanger, expressed their excitement about this partnership and stated the following in a press release: “When we began this journey, we followed our passion and created a series of games and brands with the purpose of inspire and entertain. We have always dreamed big and are thrilled to have created something that has captured the hearts of tens of millions of people around the world transmedia”.

Legendary and Mob Entertainment will team up with Angry Films’ Don Murphy and Susan Montford. The fact that Poppy Playtime is getting a live-action film shouldn’t be too surprising, considering that a film with a similar premise was able to make major profits in theaters. Five Nights At Freddy’s (the second film of which has already been announced) has become one of the biggest films of 2023, so this collaboration with Legendary and Angry Films is probably destined for success.
Poppy Playtime it blew up in 2022, but years later it still maintains a high level of success. Initially the Italian police raised the alarm: the Poppy Playtime horror puppet was considered dangerous.
