According to what reported by Bloody Disgusting, the film In A Violent Nature it will be released in American theaters on May 31st in its Unrated version, i.e. without the classification that allows the public to understand who the viewing is aimed at (such as PG-13 or R).
The film won’t hit theaters until the end of the month, but audio from the infamous Chicago screening has leaked online in which the audience can be heard reacting to what appears to be a shocking and very violent killing.
While the details of this scene have not been shared, some details have emerged. Without spoiling too much, let’s just say you might think twice before going to see this movie!
There have also been reports of people who vomited during the screeningbut it is also true that we have often heard the same thing and, apart from perhaps in the 70s when The Exorcist was released, it has always been exaggerations.
In A Violent Nature, the plot
The film directed by Chris Nash, in his directorial debut, is centered on the undead serial killer Johnny (Ry Barrett) looking for new victims in the woods. The killing spree is triggered by the removal of a medallion from a collapsed fire tower in the woods that imprisons the rotting corpse of Johnny, a spirit seeking revenge after a horrific crime committed over 60 years ago.
Johnny is then awakened and is determined to retrieve the medallion from a group of vacationing teenagers. The only way to do it? Methodically slaughter them one at a time.
