Seven years after the third chapter of despicable Methe saga starring Gru and his Minions is ready to return to theaters with a fourth film which promises to introduce some new features into the franchise, as is anticipated by the trailer released in these hours in view of the release next July.
After introducing us to Gru’s son in recent months, the new trailer this time focuses above all on the Minions: our hero’s adorable assistants (?) introduce us to the new film by giving us an overview of their offices, but above all by lending themselves to an experiment that we imagine will have important implications on the plot.
In fact, in the trailer we see the Minions undergo (not too voluntarily, to be honest) a treatment that closely resembles them the one suffered by Captain America and the various super-soldiers of the US army in the Marvel universe: our little friends, in short, are ready to become real war machines… Or something that, in some way, should come close to that concept!
We will see, however, how the idea will be developed in this new chapter of the saga: in the meantime, we remind you that Despicable Me 4 will be released in theaters on next July 3rd. Will it be able to replicate the success of the previous three chapters (plus a spin-off)? Summer will give us the answer!
