A European bench inaugurated on the Forlì campus

Forlì, 20 May. (askanews) – Even the final day, Sunday 19 May, was generous with content for the many present. The protagonist, especially in the afternoon, is the EYE Village in Forlì. The Campus that hosted it was a place of great energy and inclusion: during the event we saw it full of proposals, initiatives and itinerant activities, completed by a special food area. All with an ecological approach to protecting the environment. We spoke with Francesco Privitera, Head of the Forlì Campus Food Area: “In this space we tried to combine the territory on the one hand and the main themes of this initiative on the other, inclusiveness but also difference and obviously protection of the environment. We have given a lot of attention to recycling, and everything related to waste disposal. In this area we have set up institutional stands, maintaining the key themes of inclusiveness and the environment, trying to make people understand the perspective of the environment. commitment that all these institutions have in different forms”. Institutional stands were present in the area: University, Region, European Parliament and Municipality of Forlì, united in transmitting a message of social commitment to young people. A message, the European one, which is never easy to convey, risking some of its aspects to be abstract and very broad: the objective of the press is to give concreteness and awareness to these important messages. We then spoke with Laura Loguercio, journalist from “Il Post”: “What we try to do is change the narrative to make people understand the actual consequences of what the European Union does and what the consequences are. We try to deal with the Union European Union by selecting the news that matters most at that particular moment, we deal with it consistently and by explaining the context of the news.” The inauguration of the European Bench inside the Campus, a concrete and tangible sign of the passage of EYE Forlì in Italy, anticipated the great final party inside the Village, where young percussionists enthralled those present using musical instruments made with recovery.
