Among the measures adopted by Provincial Command of the Carabinieri of Avellino to combat predatory crime, there is constant monitoring of the areas close to the motorway toll booths.
Saturday afternoon, during one of the numerous checkpoints carried out by the military from the Company of Mirabella Eclano in the Castel del Lago area, in the municipality of Venticano, a car that aroused particular suspicion was stopped.
When asked to provide documents, the driver simply declined his personal details, stating that he did not have a driving license with him.
But the behavior of the self-styled 36-year-old from the province of Naples did not convince Carabinieri, who decided to deepen the control. In short, the discovery: the arrested man, without a driving license as it had already been revoked, would have provided the details of his twin brother.
For the man, already burdened by several convictions and with a substantial criminal curriculum (including a so-called aggravated Oral Warning), he was then arrested in flagrante delicto and subjected to house arrest, awaiting the hearing of validation.
The arrested person is a person subjected to investigations and therefore presumed innocent until a final sentence is reached.
