In recent days, the State Police arrested a foreigner in flagrante delicto who was responsible for a robbery against the “Conad” business in the city of Massa Carrara.
The subject, after having removed some items from the shelves of the shop, was stopped at the exit and, when asked to return what had been removed, began to threaten the staff of that supermarket with sharp and sharp fragments of glass, then suddenly fled with the stolen goods.
Following a report received at 112 NUE, the police officers immediately intercepted the robber who, having seen any possibility of escape thwarted, turned his threatening behavior against them and the applicants.
The police officers, considering the serious threat posed by the presence of dangerous objects and blunt objects within the criminal’s possession, thanks to the use of the electric pulse weapon (TASER) in use by the FF.OO. of the Apuan district, managed to block and contain him, thus guaranteeing the safety of those present.
The robber, who turned out to be a man of Middle Eastern origins with multiple criminal pasts relating to robberies and thefts, was arrested; subsequently the arrest was validated by the Judicial Authority, and the subject, on the orders of the GIP of the Court of Massa, was subjected to the measure of precautionary custody in prison.
