It wasn’t such a predictable Scudetto.
“He said it right, because reconfirming himself, winning again, and winning again in this way, was not at all a given. Instead, everyone worked great and it was an extraordinary ride. “I don’t know if there are formulas. What is certain is the determination, the hunger to want to continue winning. And this is what must still distinguish us. I believe we need motivated players and staff people with a great desire to continue to make an important journey, because only in this way can you reach certain objectives”.
The same goes for the last match of the season, the Italian Cup final.
“Absolutely yes. Tomorrow we have to forget today’s match, even if it was good, with many goals, because Friday will be a different story: when there is a trophy up for grabs, the games are different. We have to reset everything. Starting tomorrow we have to work with a lot of hunger, with a lot of determination, to reach another goal that we set ourselves at the beginning of the season.”

GIUGLIANO ON THE CLUB’S OFFICIAL CHANNELS
Today was the right setting to celebrate this second Scudetto.
“Yes, we are very happy. Finally, these celebrations have arrived: we couldn’t wait. Today, we also put in an excellent performance in view of the Italian Cup final. Now we’ll enjoy this moment and then we’ll think about the four days we’ll have available to prepare for the final.”
Victories are never a given and it wasn’t easy to reconfirm after last season.
“Absolutely not, it is the second consecutive trophy and for us it is a great honor, because wearing this shirt means a lot and bringing the second Scudetto to Rome also means a lot for all those people who come here to support us at the weekend, and in the midst of the week when the Champions League is on. We hope to be able to do it again next year, because that’s our job. We will definitely try to make our fans happy again.”
What season was it for you?
“A very important season. I grew a lot on a mental level, I managed to materialize more in front of goal, which was the thing I was missing. I think I achieved many personal bests this year. Now we have to raise the bar. Next year, we need to beat this year’s records and ensure that the team wins every match. It’s not easy, because it’s not easy for a player to repeat themselves. Now we need to recharge our batteries, think about the final, then there will be the national team , and after the holidays we will start again stronger”.
There is still one commitment: the Italian Cup final. That would be the icing on the cake.
“Absolutely yes. I repeat, there are four days of work left to prepare for another final that we managed to conquer. Certainly, the contribution of the Club has made it possible to reach this great goal: the Club supports us and this gives us a great hand on the pitch too. We try to do our best and make our club happy, which is always behind us, ready to support us. We will try to bring home another trophy.”
