Fano, 19 May 2024- “In Fano we want to go back to winning like in Aguzzi’s time.” It is the only reference to the local elections made by the Foreign Minister and national secretary of Forza Italia, Antonio Tajani, welcomed in Fano, at the Pesce Azzurro.
Tajani underlined the positive moment of Forza Italia. “Today I was in Fabriano, Ascoli Piceno, and Civitanova Marche – he pointed out – and in all the meetings there were always a lot of people. There is a wind blowing in favor of Forza Italia, as has not happened for years. I think we can reach the 10% target.”

The foreign Minister he then remembered all the Italian citizens detained abroad and brought back to Italy by this government. “We follow them one by one,” he said, “even those who don’t end up in the newspapers: there are 3,405 of them.” Finally, the mention of international events, with reference to the news from Iran a few hours ago, and the importance of bringing a moderate force like Forza Italia to Europe, “a guarantee of balance, sobriety and seriousness”.
Minister Tajani was welcomed there provincial secretary Elisabetta Foschithe local secretaries of Forza Italia Fiammetta Rinaldi and Enzo Di Tommaso, the regional councilor Stefano Aguzzi, several mayors of the area including Maurizio Gambini of Urbino and the candidate mayors of the centre-right of Pesaro and Fano, Marco Lanzi and Luca Serfilippi and the regional commissioner of Forza Italia Battistoni who accompanied Tajani on the regional tour.
