(mi-lorenteggio.com) Rho, 18 May 2024 – The Amici di Mazzo Cultural Group Association (AGCAM) is pleased to announce that the awards ceremony for the “CALENDIMAGGIO” poetry and prose competition for children will be held on Sunday 26 May 2024 . The event is scheduled at the “P. Auditorium”. Rejna” in Rho, in Via Meda, at 8.30 pm. The poetry competition, open to students of the lower and upper secondary schools of Rho and Arese, will celebrate the important milestone of 27 years, while the prose section “A STORY FOR YOU”, reserved for the two and three-year periods of the upper secondary schools, will reach the 8th edition. As always, numerous and enterprising students participated in the competition, with their “works” which will be collected, as per tradition, in a souvenir booklet. As usual, the winning students will be awarded by the Deans and Professors of the Institutes who participated in the two events and by the Authorities who will attend the evening. At the end of the awards ceremony, the traditional booklet with all the poems and stories in the competition will be given to all the children and the teaching staff, as a tangible sign of the commitment made by all the young writers in recent months; because in any case, beyond the “official rankings”, all the boys and girls won, putting themselves out there and dedicating part of their time to the development of their compositions. The “sponsors” also contributed to the creation of this edition, namely MONDADORI STORE of Arese and NUOVENERGIE; ASER instead offered a “Liberal Contribution” to the event.
