A tree collapses in the street in Caserta, near the Conad supermarket in via Ruggiero, and hits a car with a 75-year-old man inside who is trapped. The firefighters were on site and saved the man and placed the tape around the tree. The accident occurred this morning, around 10.00 am. A team from the Provincial Command of the Caserta Fire Brigade, coming from the headquarters of the Command, intervened in via Ruggiero in the municipality of Caserta, alerted by residents in the area to rescue a person. Immediately arriving on site, the Fire Brigade found a person, a 75-year-old man, who had been trapped in his car after it had been hit by a suddenly collapsed tree. The Fire Brigade cut the branches of the tree and rescued the person in the car, freeing him and handing him over to the care of the 118 emergency services on site with an ambulance.
