Music, starred chefs, gastronomic excellence, art and 40 Umbrian wineries in the streets and squares of the city: this is ‘Wine love weekend’. The Terni event brought many people from outside the region to the city from the first day of the event. The first day, Friday 17 May, featured the students of the Casagrande-Cesi institute who met the master pastry chef Salvatore De Riso, a well-known face from Antonella Clerici’s program on Rai 1. Then the evening ended in Piazza Tacito with a dinner gala under the starry sky. But it doesn’t end here, here are the events for the next two days of the festival.

Appointments Don’t miss them ‘Enonote’ tastings which will be accompanied by a good glass and the right notes harmonize the senses. ‘Enonote’ is a cultural association that aims to promote, spread and create that symbiosis between the culture of wine and the sophisticated notes of jazz in an atmosphere of pleasant conviviality. The appointment is in Piazza Europa on Saturday 18 May (6.30pm, 7.30pm, 9pm, 10pm) and Sunday 19 May (6.30pm, 7.30pm). And then again Aperitif with music and DJ set in Piazza della Repubblica on Saturday 18 May from 10.30pm to midnight. More space for music with Sparkle jazz duo with Emanuele Pellegrini on piano and Alessandro Giammari on vocals which, on Saturday 18 May from 6.30pm to 7.30pm then from 9.30pm to 9pm, they will accompany those present during the wine tasting with a repertoire full of surprises that will range from jazz classics, Italian and international songs revisited in a blues and soul key. The meeting is in Piazza della Repubblica. At the Pazzaglia pastry shop however, again on Saturday 18th, from 6.30pm and then from 9.30pm, there will be the Tartle jazz & soul group.

Wine love weekend‘ For art lovers there is the ‘Rosso Di-Vino’ exhibition at the Palasì from 10am to 11pm. A moment of meeting with painters, sculptors and artists of the moulage of the Thyrus group, to celebrate Bacchus and the creativity that comes from it, both in subjects and techniques. Between Saturday and Sunday it will also be possible to admire performances of engraving techniques on glass bottles and the use of ‘vini tinto’, i.e. the tannin naturally present in wine, for the creation of a dress, a clay sculpture which will have as its object Bacchus and painting with wine as watercolor. For the final day of the show cooking event at 4pm with the starred chefs Giulio Gigli and Diego Narcisi and at 6pm with Ada Stifani.
