Cavallincittà 2024: riding in the historic center of Arezzo
Appointment for Sunday 19 May in Arezzo, to experience a day of sport and tourism, in the name of sustainability and nature
A very special way of visiting the city of the Giostra del Saracino with all its parish churches will be staged Sunday 19 May. It’s about Cavallincittà 2024event organized by Uisp Arezzo with the collaboration of ASD Il Chiodo Fisso.
The day aims to: raise citizens’ awareness of an activity “green tourism”; promote equestrian tourism to rediscover the territory for valorisation of cultural and artistic assets; develop socialization and inclusion; promote associations in the name of solidarity and fundraising which will be donated to the Lo Scudo di Pan animal rights association, which has been operating for over ten years in support of abandoned and/or distressed pets.
The program includes the gathering of horses and riders at 8am at the Asd Il Chiodo Fisso in San Firenze, as an alternative to the 9am gathering directly at the Villa Severi Park. At approximately 9.30 am departure for the horseback ride through the streets of the city, reserved only for expert riders and riders in possession of a passport and in compliance with the USL regulations for equines.
From 11am to 12pm aperitif in the Prato for all participants, a moment of conviviality, chat and solidarity in support of our furry friends of Lo scudio di Pan.
