Grosseto. The students of the class will participate in a trip on the canals of Livorno and an escape room experience on May 23rd. 1st A of the “Rosmini” high schoolwith the video “Toxic Relationships”, which placed first in the competition “Young people, alcohol and lifestyles”, promoted by the Coeso Società della Salute as part of the project carried out together with the Municipality of Grosseto and with the technical support of Simurg Ricerche.
But the other students from the other participating classes also received recognition for having participated in the competition, proposing works they had created with the aim of “talking” to their peers about correct lifestyles and correct relationships, according to the principle of peer education.
All participating classes, in addition to the 1st A, the 2nd H with the presentation “Our lives”, the 1st I with the video “World social world day” e the 1st N con “Human relations”, they decided to deal with the topic of relationships, touching on topics ranging from respect for others to the fight against gender violence, from equality in relationships, particularly romantic ones, to the stigmatization of bullying and cyberbullying.
And precisely because all the works presented in the competition touched on the theme of relationships between peers, it was chosen to offer the first classified, in addition to the guided tour of the Livorno canals, also the experience of escape rooms: a situation in which, to get out of the room you find yourself in, you have to form a group, answer questions and identify the best strategy to escape.
The students of the second classified class, 1st I, each received two cinema tickets, while the students of the other two classes were awarded equal merit, who each received a cinema ticket.
The “Youth, alcohol and lifestyles” project was started ten years ago, thanks to the work of the Health Society and the Municipality of Grosseto, with the technical support of Simurg Ricerche. Every year it allows actions to be carried out within participating schools aimed at promoting conscious lifestyles among young people, which aim, in particular, to limit alcohol consumption and the resulting risky behaviour.
Are approximately 100 students of the Rosmini high school cwho participated in the initiative in this 2023-2024 school year and 1000 those who filled out the Edit questionnaire formulated by the Regional Health Agency of Tuscany (Ars), which investigates the habits of adolescents from the point of view of lifestyles and of relationships.
In addition to the students, the social councilor of the Municipality of Grosseto, Sara Minozzi, the head of the socio-educational services of Coeso, Massimiliano Marcucci, the representatives of Simurg Ricerche and the teachers who contributed to the realization of the project.
