The training event “Project management in healthcare: skills, perspectives and case studies between engineering and management leadership” will be held on Friday 24 May in Cuneo, organized by the Order of Engineers of the Province of Cuneo with the patronage of the Order of Architects of the Province of Cuneo and the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers.
At the headquarters of the Order of Engineers, in via Allione 4, the figure of the ‘project manager’ will be at the center, examining the skills, strategies and tools of “a professional called to manage change and complexity in a highly challenging healthcare context, where quality, innovation and efficiency are the driving engines of governance aimed at success”.
The works will open at 2pm with greetings from Adriano Scarzella and Fabrizio Rocchia, presidents respectively of the Order of Engineers and that of Architects of the Province of Cuneo, and of Umberto Nocco, president of the Italian Association of Clinical Engineers.
We will get to the heart of the event with the intervention of Carlo Rafele, Full Professor at the Department of Management and Production Engineering of the Polytechnic of Turin, thanks to which we will outline the skills and methods of healthcare project management. This will be followed by speeches by Giulio Iachetti, Director of the Investment and Project Coordination UOC of the Isola Tiberina – Gemelli Isola Hospital in Rome, and by Giovanni Poggialini, Director of the Technical Administrative Department of the ASST Settelaghi of Varese, who will respectively delve into project management in the private sector and in the public sector, integrating the project management point of view with that of portfolio management. The afternoon will end with the speech of Fabrizio Mario Vinardi, Contract Professor of the University of Turin in ‘Forensic Engineering’ and Director of the Forensic Engineering Academy, with whom you will have the opportunity to delve deeper into applied project management to forensic engineering through the presentation of real case studies related to the healthcare world.
“With this event, the Order of Engineers of the Province of Cuneo, with its Biomedical, Clinical and Healthcare Engineering Commission, chaired by Councilor Eng. Chiara Maccagno, wishes to offer all professionals operating in the healthcare supply chain an in-depth moment of training and of dialogue, supporting the central importance of skills and discussion in a complex context of community interest such as that of healthcare”, underlines the provincial president of the Order of Engineers Adriano Scarzella.
