FERMO – A celebration made up of many enthusiasts, from the Aosta Valley to Sicily. They will be in the Marche for three days, from the 17th to the 19th. They will parade and enjoy the cultural beauties of our region. These are the Lambrettas that take part in the XXX national meeting of the Lambretta Club of Italy which rewarded the Marche club in the organization by choosing our region as the venue for the event. And on Sunday 19 May 2024 the grand finale in Fermo, with the vehicles displayed in Piazza del Popolo until 2.00 pm, with the welcome of the flag-wavers and drummers of the Cavalcata dell’Assunta and the Contrade della Cavalcata who will take care of the lunch before the conclusion , to seal the event.
There are 380 historic vehicles registered for the event (all produced between 1947 and 1971) which will arrive from all Italian regions. Many will arrive on horseback traveling hundreds of kilometres, there are those who arrive from Friuli along the Croatian coast to Split and then by ferry to Ancona. It will be a true celebration of historical collecting, Italian design and a celebration of our mechanical industry. The program includes arrival in Fermo on Sunday morning 19 May.
Emotion, honor and burden for the Lambretta Club Marche, chaired by Stefano Cecarini, in coordinating an event that will be of great promotion for the localities it will touch and the precious support of Luca Trasatti: on their part thanks go to the Municipal Administration of Fermo for their support and willingness to welcome an initiative on Sunday 19th that will certainly raise awareness of the city’s cultural heritage. Added to these are thanks to the Cavalcata and the Contrade for immediately making themselves available, for taking care of the participants in detail and with great passion.
