Marta Nava, a colleague from MonzaNews, spoke to TuttoFrosinone about the moment experienced by Monza and also about the race for salvation. These are some of his words: “Since the match against Cagliari, Monza has no longer managed to win even if some matches remain noteworthy, like against Napoli, even if we lost, and against Lazio, where we won only one point. In my opinion the team, having achieved safety, no longer had the right determination and motivation and this pays off, given that many teams are still fighting hard to save themselves or move up in the standings. I would have liked to see more desire to win, more points in the standings and certainly better performances.”
What do I think of Frosinone? I have always expressed myself well about Frosinone because, since Serie B, I had seen various things that I liked. We know that staying in Serie A is never easy and, in my opinion, the team lacked a bit of experience. As for the possibility of salvation, I limit myself to looking at the calendar: Frosinone is playing everything against Monza and Udinese; Empoli always faces Udinese and Roma while Sassuolo clashes with Cagliari and Lazio. Facing Roma and Lazio is never easy, even if we are at the end of the championship, but in my opinion the most important match will be Udinese-Empoli precisely because Cannavaro’s team has only 1 point more and will go for broke.”
