“We promised and we kept our promise, as always. After the resolution approved by the council on 7 May, a few days later, the new management model of the system was implemented, directly managed by the Municipality, through an assignment of the service. Which includes opening, closing, secretarial services, lifeguards, bar management and cleaning and everything necessary.
The Solferino swimming pool therefore has its new manager who will provide the service on behalf of the Municipality. This fully reflects the spirit of guaranteeing a useful service to the entire community for the historic swimming pool that is so dear to the people of Novara. There will also be new sunbeds, umbrellas and tables.
It will be an experimental and transitory management which allows us not only to open in June as I had anticipated, but also to determine all the real costs and revenues deriving from entrances and profits from the bar. Whoever provides the service will have to provide the Municipality with a monthly report and a seasonal report.
This will allow us to finally have a detailed picture of the economic situation of the structure, also in view of future choices.” – comments the Sports Councilor Ivan De Grandis
