The next step will be the awarding of public works, mainly for roads and parking in the sector, with the start of construction sites for the residential buildings. The technical investigations for the latter are nearing completion. “At the end of this last construction site, Sesto will host 800 off-site students and over 4,000 employees of the credit institution.” To these people will be added another 3 thousand doctors, nurses, technicians and administrative staff of the large hospital complex, which will be completed by November 2026 and will bring together the Cancer Institute and the Besta Neurological Institute, operational from the spring of 2027, barring further unforeseen events.
