“I waited a few days before issuing statements because I believe it was right to leave space for the words and images of the protagonists of the fantastic comeback in the championship, which culminated with the exciting victory against Venezia, which allowed us to celebrate the objective we had set ourselves set for January, after a certainly difficult start and not in line with everyone’s expectations.
I want to thank every single player for always giving their all, never giving up, even when the road seemed to be a particularly steep climb, demonstrating seriousness and a spirit of sacrifice until the last moment.
A big thank you goes to coach Luca D’Angelo and his tireless staff for believing from day one in the possibility of turning the fortunes of the season around, transmitting confidence, awareness and determination to everyone.
I also thank all the management and all the collaborators who, each for their own task, were able to make a fundamental contribution to our cause.
