A pilot project of constructive journalism, that is, information modulated mainly on possible solutions, without limiting itself to the mere description of the problems. And this the fulcrum of the new editorial initiative of the LaC Networkwhich has launched a project for the upcoming June elections who will accompany the voters of Vibo Valentia to the polls. Obviously, the online newspapers of the network and LaC TV will continue to offer exhaustive information on the vote in all Calabrian municipalities, but there will be a focus on Vibo Valentia, the only provincial capital called to the polls which will be divided into four special episodes of Inside the newsthe information strip hosted by Pier Paolo Cambareriwhich follows the 2pm news every day, from Monday to Friday. The chosen title – Vibo Valens – is also emblematic, a past participle, in Latin, of the verb valere, to underline the multiple meanings that the etymology of this word expresses.

We start tomorrow, Thursday 16 Maywith the first episode featuring the studio participation of Dominic Consul (centre-right coalition that supports Roberto Cosentino’s candidacy for mayor), Domenico Serraoregional secretary of the Communist Refoundation (in support of Marcella Murabito’s candidacy for mayor), Danilo Tucci(centre coalition that supports Francesco Muzzopappa’s candidacy for mayor) and the M5s deputy Riccardo Tucci (centre-left coalition that supports Enzo Romeo’s candidacy for mayor).

The political leaders, in strict compliance with equal conditionsthey will be called upon to propose concrete solutions to problem on the discussion table, that is, the future of the port of Vibo Marina. The director of the newspaper Noi di Calabria will animate the discussion with questions that will prompt the guests, Nicola Lopreiatoand the editor-in-chief of LaC, Stefano Mandarano.

Appointment, then, tomorrow, May 16, starting at 2.30 pm, on LaC TV, digital terrestrial channel 11, 411 Tivù Sat and 820 Sky. Also streaming on the network’s publications and on LaC Play.
