Temperatures are rising on the island with peaks above 30 degrees. Highs expected between 24 and 31 degrees.
30 degrees are expected in Agrigento, 28 in Caltanissetta, 25 in Catania, 26 in Enna, 24 in Messina, 27 in Palermo, 31 in Ragusa, 28 in Syracuse, 26 in Trapani.
In the rest of Italy
North. A disturbance reaches our regions therefore the day will be compromised by bad weather conditions, in fact in almost all regions precipitation, sometimes thunderstorms and with local hailstorms and gusts of wind, are expected. There will be more clear weather in Emilia Romagna and Liguria. Thermal drop. The winds will blow from the southern quadrants, generally rough seas.
Center and Sardinia. An African-style high pressure field affects our regions therefore the day will be characterized by general good weather conditions, the sky will be cloudy at times except for quick showers in upper Tuscany. The winds will blow from the south with local reinforcements. It will be hot with peaks of 27°C in Rome. The seas will generally be rough or the Adriatic will be very rough.
South and Sicily. The subtropical anticyclone reaches our regions and consequently the day will be characterized by good weather, in fact the sky will be sparsely or at times irregularly cloudy everywhere. The winds will blow with local reinforcements from the southern quadrants while the seas will be rough or almost calm close to the coasts. Climate warming everywhere.

A high pressure field is established in Sicily guaranteeing stable and sunny weather everywhere. Specifically, on the Tyrrhenian coast, on the Apennines and inland areas, mostly clear or slightly cloudy skies for the entire day; on the Ionian coast and the southern coast it was a mostly cloudy day, except for the presence of scattered clouds in the morning. Moderate winds from the south-western quadrants rotating to the north-western quadrants. Lower Tyrrhenian Sea from slightly rough to rough; choppy channel; Sea of Sicily from very rough to rough.
North. A new disturbed impulse reaches our regions and so the day will be characterized by an increasingly unstable atmosphere almost everywhere. Heavy rainfall is also expected, in the form of thunderstorms with hail and isolated tornadoes. More intense phenomena in Lombardy and Triveneto. Temperature drop in the Northwest. Winds from the south, seas locally rough.
Center and Sardinia. Subtropical high pressure protects most of our regions, in fact on this day the good weather will prevail and it will also be very hot. Only in northern Tuscany will there be fast thunderstorms, at times intense and with hailstorms. The winds will blow from the southern quadrants making the Adriatic Sea very rough. Summer climate.
South and Sicily. The African anticyclone driven by humid southern winds, even strong ones, protects our regions. The day will be characterized by dry weather, but the sky will often be very cloudy or at times even overcast, especially over Sicily, Calabria and the Ionian coasts in general. Adriatic and Ionian Seas very rough or locally agitated. Summer climate.
