Cagliari, the Ambassador of Vietnam visits the prefecture

Economic and cultural relations between the Asian country and the Sardinia Region are the themes at the center of the conversation

The prefect of Cagliari Giuseppe De Matteis met today, at the Government Palace, the Ambassador of the Socialist Republic of Vietnam in Italy Duong Hai Hung.

Vietnamese culture and consolidation of relations with the Asian country are some of the topics at the center of the conversation which represented a significant moment for dealing with current and important international issues linked to the economic and tourism sectors between the two countries.

After having highlighted the opportunities and prospects for economic and cultural development for both countries, the two authorities shared and hoped for a strengthening of trade relations with Sardinian partners and discussed the common desire to encourage greater tourist exchanges with the region Italian, whose extraordinary potential, for natural, historical and artistic beauty, was underlined by the Ambassador.

The diplomat was accompanied by Commercial Counselor Duong Phuong Thao, Embassy First Counselor Nguyen Thu Ha, and Embassy Counselor Hoang Oanh. Also present, among others, were the General Secretary and the vice President of the Italy-Vietnam Chamber of Commerce Walter Cavrenghi and Valerio Salomone, and the President of the Confprofessioni Sardegna Susanna Pisano.
