Those responsible for the brawl which took place on 2 December in via Sostegni near the “Teatro Verdi” in Cesena have been identified and reported by the State Police. The police cars from the Cesena police station arrived on site but the police were unable to identify any of the alleged perpetrators as they had already fled. The agents, however, reconstructed the facts thanks to the testimonies of the “Verdi” security, ascertaining that they were not customers of the nightclub, they were outside the club, they faced each other, armed with knives and glass bottles and the security personnel intervened to search to safeguard customers. Then the policemen from the police station began investigations to try to reconstruct the exact dynamics and identify the five responsible. The fight would have initially arisen between two subjects and from there two opposing factions of subjects of foreign origin would have been created. During the violent attack, which lasted about a quarter of an hour, one of the perpetrators was injured in the arm with a sharp object. But before the police arrived, the five fled. The perpetrators, all foreigners, aged between 26 and 20, were reported to the Judicial Authority for the crimes of brawling and aggravated injury.
