Civitella Paganico (Grosseto). “It had just been inaugurated with great pomp, by Mayor Biondi with the regional councilor Marras, last April 20th, not even a month agoand today the new camper parking area of the Municipality of Civitella Paganico, at the first spring shower, finds itself already cordoned off and partially unusable“: this is what he reports in a note Franco Rossicentre-right mayoral candidate in Civitella Paganico for the “Per Civitella Paganico” list.
“An investment of over 150 thousand euros, 120 thousand by the Municipality and 40 thousand with regional funds, made with citizens’ money, which was supposed to serve the redevelopment of an area that had been abandoned for years, and to serve as a camper parking area equipped with all the services for this type of outdoor tourism, including that aimed at disabled people – explains Rossi -. Unfortunately, we must note that, beyond the long cordoned off area, weeds are also starting to ‘bloom’ left and right, a sign that the much-vaunted redevelopment just under a month ago has already gone to the dogs, with all due respect to the money spent and of the ‘road surface’ which is impassable for disabled people”.
“If this is the way, after ten years of government of the Municipality, in which the outgoing mayor intends to pay attention to the territory and in which taxpayers’ money is spent, well, let all citizens know it. Only a mayor, perhaps tired of governing and not very attentive to what is happening around him, would allow all this. The citizens of Civitella deserve respect and also a real change of pace in the leadership of our Municipality”, he concludes Franco Rossi.
