Lambruscolonga in Modena, a record edition

Modena, 13 May 2024 – A record edition that of Lambruscolonga, the 21st staged on Saturday as part of the second edition of the “Modena WineFood Experience” promoted by Confesercenti Modena, and organized by Lambruscheria.

On Saturday evening, in fact, hundreds of young people, fewer young people and families crowded the city center with the traditional glass around their neck, to take on the route among the city’s prestigious venues tasting Lambruscos and appetizers prepared ad hoc.

But that is not all, because at the same time the first table took place convivial along the renovated Canal Chiaro by the chefs of Modena a Tavola with “old-time” foods paired with the best traditional Lambruscos.

A table that recalled convivial dinners of the early 20th century while, opposite and at the same time, the ‘teens’ toasted with non-alcoholic wines and equally non-alcoholic cocktails provided by Giacobazzi. Wines and appetizers offered by Conad, partner of the event in the new GenZ table. The great novelty of this edition is the presence of the Robot Waiter, from the Padula company created by Vincenzo Petrizzo.

The robot served the appetizers to the diners, making the evening even more ‘sparkling’ and fun. Among those present also Barozzi student Damiano Cassanelli, who received the Lambruscolonga prize for the courage shown in the research and defense of freedom of expression. The events brought around 7 thousand people to the centre overall.

At the ribbon cutting, among others, the mayor Muzzarelli, the councilor Ludovica Ferrari, Anna and Jessica Marchetti and Vania Franceschelli, president of the Nocino order and Angelo Giovannini of Modenamoremio. During the two days of the WineFood Experience, the well-known Andrea Reggianini market Parva Naturalia was also on stage and, in Novi Sad, a real sports car show, over 350 with ‘Modena Street Show’ and 2500 attendees.

In the end the most beautiful postcards were made available for the entire weekend from the 1900s provided and selected by Andrea Cavazza of “Collezionare”. The postcards, faithfully reproduced, were given (in the non-original version) to all the participants of the Lambruscolonga and of the historical Tavolata to be able to send them to your friends and relatives in the special letterbox in Piazza Grande at Made in Modena Travel.
