Is called Gran Piemonte tour in… white the evening designed taking inspiration from the Italian stages of the great French cycling race.
The Tour de France 2024 will start on June 29th from Florence and will run through three stages between Tuscany, Emilia Romagna and Piedmont.
The third stage, starting from Piacenza and arriving in Turin, measures 231 km and will be the longest of the race. It will take place on July 1st and will pass through the provinces of Alessandria, Asti, Cuneo and Turin.

The sommelier and wine coach Paolo Noto he will pedal in the white wine Piedmont, retracing the Italian stages of the Tour de France.
The initiative is called Gran Piemonte tour in… white and takes place on Tuesday 14 May at 8.30 pm, in the multipurpose hall in Corso Alessandria 271 in Asti.
It will be a guided tasting of nine labels of famous or rare vines compared. Seven wines will be Piedmontese, but there will also be two samples arriving from the other regions crossed by the Tour: Emilia Romagna and Tuscany.
During the evening there will be a tribute to hybrids and crosses, thinking about Giovanni Dalmasso, which has created very important intersections also in the Asti area.
Paired with farinata, cheeses and 0km cured meats from the Campagna Amica Farmers’ Market.
