In order to satisfy the numerous requests aimed at obtaining the issuance of the Passport, from today, the updated procedures for issuing the expatriation permit will also be operational for the police stations of Assisi, Città di Castello and Spoleto. The new booking method, which must be made exclusively online via the “Passport Agenda”, also provides for an expansion of the opening hours of the Passport Office of the police stations of Assisi, Città di Castello and Spoleto and of the daily availability of the Agenda. Furthermore, an additional agenda has been prepared for booking the expatriation permit in cases of urgency. The passport request must therefore be made exclusively through the “Passport Agenda”, the online service created by the State Police, which can be reached from the website https://passaportonline.poliziadistato.it using SPID or CIE credentials. The system, in addition to entering the application, will allow you to choose the day and time for the delivery of the documentation and for the taking of fingerprints (necessary for issuing the passport). Booking via “Passport Agenda” will be the exclusive method for making an appointment for the purpose of issuing the expatriation permit. Also for the Passport Office of the police stations of Assisi, Città di Castello and Spoleto, the revised emergency procedures, which can only be used in the event of an absence of suitable appointments in the web diary to satisfy the citizen’s needs, provide that:

· for the issuance of the passport within 30 days – the user must book an appointment online in the priority agenda (dedicated only to emergencies), fill in and print a self-certification, already prepared in the computer system, in which he must declare the reasons of the urgency, documentation necessarily supported by suitable correspondence to be produced at the time of submission of the application;

· for passport issuance within 15 days – if the priority diary does not provide a date useful for one’s needs, the user will have to print the self-certification, always prepared in the same IT system, accompanied by documentation certifying the urgency, to be presented directly at the Police Station on the days the counters are open.

Please note that the Passport Office can still be contacted at the following email address: [email protected].
