BARI -Six lists for the “progressive camp of Bari”: Michele Laforgia, candidate for mayor of a left-wing coalition, presented this evening with an event attended in Largo Due Giugno the six lists that will support him in the electoral campaign for 8 and 9 June . At his side there will be the M5S (the parliamentarian Gian Mauro Dell’Olio spoke on stage), the Italian Communist Party, the civic “Laforgia mayor” (which includes PD candidates such as the former president of the Bari assembly Titti De Simone and Communist Rifondazione such as Sabino De Razza and Professor Laura Marchetti, former undersecretary in the government chaired by Romano Prodi), Bari common good and Urban Generation (youth-oriented training), as well as the socialist list Bari city of Europe.
«There are many of us taking part in this electoral adventure: it is – explained Laforgia with a football metaphor – a squadron. We are fielding hundreds and hundreds of candidates for the council, with many citizens who want change.” On the program he then explained: «We propose a new idea of the city: instead of the overused word “suburbs” we argue that a simple word should be recovered, which is called “decentralization”, it is the best way to make all the neighborhoods of Bari fair and welcoming . All citizens, from every neighborhood, must simply be considered citizens of Bari.”

Chia Riccardi, candidate for Grillina president of Municipality 3, was also present.
