LIVORNO. The car is already running. The Locatelli group is still waiting for a first contact with Joel Esciua but does not want to waste time. On the other hand, one of the big problems of the last two years has been the very late start: two years ago with Toccafondi because the repechage in Serie D arrived in August, last year because Esciua had a thousand interviews before choosing Favarin and Pinzani on the 19th June when the other teams had already left for a month.
Here, the Locatelli group does not want to make this mistake. And since so much time is being wasted waiting for a response from Esciua, the choice is to start the car.
And the first step is to present yourself to the city. After the half-words, the rumors, the “it is said that”, the time has come to reveal the cards.
Evening at Goldoni
The choice of Andrea Locatelli’s group as a location is not random: the Goldoni theater. In the heart of the city, a piece of Livorno’s history, a perfect environment to “fire up”.
There will be a thousand seats available inside the theatre, the organizers in recent days have already asked the director Mario Menicagli to use the theater and entry will be completely free. Naturally until seats are filled. Given the curiosity that reigns and also the latest decisive positions taken by the Curva Nord against Esciua, it is easy to predict that we are heading towards a full house.
Among other things, there would also be some surprises in the program that Locatelli’s group is working on.
The date: 20 or 22
There remains only a small doubt about the date. The chosen day is Monday 20 May but the intention is to allow all the fans to be present, and on that Monday there could be a semi-final match with either PL or Libertas on the field (the round is Tuesday but, if Libertas passes, who may play early on Monday is not yet defined).
If there is a coincidence on the 20th, we will try to move everything to Wednesday the 22nd when there will be no other sporting events in the city.

Andrea Locatelli has chosen the line of silence for a few days now, precisely so as not to create problems for the negotiation. He will return to speak only on the presentation evening to all the fans, illustrating what the project consists of.
We know something, as he himself anticipated: that is, that it is a management on the German model, with a supporting structure made up of entrepreneurs and then a part of popular participation. He was also present at Federico Gassani’s boxing match on Friday evening (Locatelli was at the top of the boxing federation) where he was seen talking to Igor Protti.
What is certain is that there is a lot of movement around this project. Goldoni’s evening will be the real thermometer.
