Fear on the bus that connects Udine to Marano Lagunare.
Moments of fear on Friday afternoon on board the Arriva Udine line 462 bus, which connects the Friulian capital with Marano Lagunare. It all happened just before 2pm, when three conductors boarded the bus at the Piazzale Cella stop, to check passengers’ tickets. At this point a passenger of foreign origin, began to agitate and scream.
Shortly thereafter the man managed to put bringing the bus in the oncoming lane and putting the lives of everyone on board at risk, approximately 35 passengers including many students who were headed home after school. Only thanks to the prompt reaction of the driver, a head-on collision with a truck was avoided.
When the driver finally braked the vehicle, the man is managed to open the door and escape, to the disbelief of those present. Despite subsequent searches, the passenger managed to disappear.
