Manfredonia. Presentation yesterday, Saturday 11 May at Palazzo dei Celestini, of the candidates on the lists of Manfredonia 2024 coalition with Ugo Galli Candidate for Mayor. The Honorable Giandiego Gatta was present to support Ugo Galli as Mayor and to present the candidates of Forza Italia.
Future trust and participation are the three key words of the coalition’s electoral campaign, together with the 12 ideas for Manfredonia ranging from legality to social cohesion to sport for all.
The presentation opens with the speech of the coalition Mayoral Candidate Ugo Galli, in the background the childhood photo with the family and Lucio Dalla, there was no lack of emotion in the memory of the father.
The salient point regarding youth policies was expressed loudly by the candidate: “Innovation, economy and youth policies. It is no longer possible to witness a demographic decline that affects the youth population of our city as if there were no longer a tomorrow.” “The Municipality is not the enemy of those who want to invest in our territory, the Municipality must favor these initiatives, it must favor full youth employment”.
The presentation continues with the presentation of the candidates of the coalition lists or 5 civic ones: Manfredonia at the centre, Forza Manfredonia, Città Protagonista, Generazione viva Manfredonia, Ugo Galli Mayor and the two leading parties of the government such as “Forza Italia and Fratelli d’Italia” .
The candidates all come from different social backgrounds, those who work as babysitters, lawyers, healthcare workers, employees, drivers, hair stylists, students and the unemployed.
There is a climate of cohesion and participation among the candidates. During the evening, THE SELF-REGULATION CODE APPROVED BY THE PARLIAMENTARY ANTI-MAFIA COMMISSION WAS SIGNED.
In the final stages of his presentation, the candidate for Mayor reports a “desire of citizens, tired of witnessing the decline of a city under commissionership”.
