The Taverna of president D’Acri and director Chiappetta achieves the Championship – Super Cup double by beating Corigliano 3-1 on the friendly pitch of “Romolo di Magro” and wins the trophy of the champions of the province of Cosenza up for grabs among the winners of the groups A and B of the Third Category. Coriglianesi took the lead in the twentieth minute of the first half with the usual Vasso, but the home team equalized thanks to the penalty kick converted by Garrafa three minutes before the break. Mister Guido’s team overturned it at the start of the second half with Venturo, who completed a counterattack on the half hour mark to close the game. Obviously, at the end of the match, the usual awards ceremony, with the two teams lifting the trophy for the victory of their respective championships, but the icing on the cake is all for Taverna who also puts the Super Cup on the board.
