The highest summit of national sport visits Torre del Greco to view, together with the mayor Luigi Mennella and the technicians of the Municipality, the projects relating to the Citadel to be built in the Viale Europa area, from the stadium to the sports hall and public swimming pool, the latter two plants whose work is destined to start after the summer. Precisely in the area of Villa Inglese Giovanni Malagò will arrive on Monday 13 May around 4 pm: the president of CONI has in fact accepted the invitation of the mayor to formally inaugurate the projects intended to transform the area owned by the institution into “home of sport” of the fourth city of Campania. Together with the projects for the sports hall and swimming pool, already tendered and whose procedures for starting the works are nearing completion, the ideas relating to the new stadium will also be presented at the top of the national Olympic committee which, in the intentions of the municipal administration, will always have to be built in the area, intended to also be able to host matches of the Serie B championship. On this occasion, Malagò will also be made aware of the Municipality’s intention to organize a national under-17 football tournament for next 25 and 26 May.
