A square for Rossella Catillo: Benevento remembers the missing educator

Benevento

Not a sad celebration but a moment of joy. This is how we decided to remember the young Rossella Catillo, who died prematurely 13 years ago. This was said about her by her companions in the Catholic Action, her family, friends, work colleagues but also by the municipal administration which named the square in front of the Moscati comprehensive school in via Grimoaldo Re after her.
The young educator who also put a lot of effort into the activities of the Catholic action for which she was responsible taught there.

The event, in fact, coincided with the Meeting Day, an event that concludes the associative year of Catholic Action.

And again the delivery of the ‘Rossella Catillo scholarship’ established by the young woman’s family. And the event was attended by the mayor Clemente Mastella, the archbishop Felice Accrocca, the parish priest of the neighborhood Don Pompilio Cristino, the councilor for urban planning Molly Chiusolo, the director of the Moscati Institute, Ernestina Cassese.
Under Rossella’s sweet smile, music, dancing, games and entertainment, a true celebration of joy like the one she always brought with her.
