The ‘Dreamer’ and the ‘Kiss’ by Fabrizio Corneli: these are the last two installations on the facades of Librino condominiums donated to the populous district of Catania by the patron Antonio Presti. “It’s a party for everyone – underlined Presti, who with the children, the mothers, the poets, the artists, the musicians, created a circle of emotions between one building and another – to add a new touch of color to this large canvas, which represents an ‘other’ future, linked to the dreams and hopes of a possible change.
All this can be seen in the commitment of those who, in recent years, have always responded to the invitation of beauty with enthusiasm and perseverance, in a growth path that has seen several generations faced with the challenges of the heart launched by Fiumara d’Arte “. A collaboration undertaken, that between maestro Presti and the president of the autonomous public housing institute of the city of Catania Angelo Sicali, which moves “in the awareness that this is only the beginning of an activity that will involve other buildings – he said Sicali – to create a new narrative of Librino. The presence of the Fiumara d’arte Foundation here in Librino is now a certainty for all the inhabitants, a point of reference for students and mothers”. The works were created by the Florentine artist Fabrizio Corneli who carries out particular and unusual research: the his sculptures of light and shadow are in fact the result of elaborate geometric calculations that give life to poetic images “One of the most significant events was the delivery of the Golden Candelora to Librino, through those who, in this suburb, have. unconditionally donated art, beauty, sharing – underlined the mayor Enrico Trantino – the common objective is to bring Librino ever closer to the heart of the city, because Catania must march united to emerge from the desert and aim for change.
