Evening of increasingly uncertain challenges this evening for the second round of the group stage of the Serie C play-offs. Difficult forecasts, but as always the “odds” of the various betting agencies have drawn up their predictions. As in the first round, the home teams are absolute favourites, without ever forgetting that in the event of a draw in the 90th minute, they will go through. A significant advantage, especially when the challenges are so uncertain. Therefore Atalanta, Casertana, Perugia, Taranto, Triestina and Pescara play with the label of favourites. But that doesn’t mean they’ve already passed the turn. According to Eurobet, the most uncertain match is the one between Taranto and Picerno. The Ionian team are winners at 2.30, the Picernese only one point more, 3.30. The draw, which we remember would promote Taranto, is given at 2.90: therefore probable compared to the victory of one of the two teams. Iacovone is already sold out. The most “unbalanced” match seems to be the one between Atalanta and Legnago: 1.78 for the victory of the Orobic team, 5.20 for that of the Venetians. The draw is given at 3.00.
Among the uncertain matches the betting agency also places Casertana-Cerignola: 2.15 for the victory of Cangelosi’s rossoblù, 3.40 for the Audace, 3.05 the draw. The rossoblù coach warned him: “We must not think about the double possibility and play for the best result. We know that these are uncertain challenges, but we would like to move forward.” The others are all considered rather readable with the success of the home team: Perugia-Rimini with the victory of the Perugians quoted at 1.80, Triestina-Giana victory of the alabardati at 1.78, Pescara-Juventus success of the Abruzzos at 1.80 .
Benevento must pay particular attention to the matches of the three “quarters”, Casertana-Cerignola, Perugia-Rimini and Triestina-Giana: the one that passes the round would be considered seeded and therefore not playable by the Giallorossi team: if it If all three passed, Casertana (65) would be the best, followed by Triestina (64), with Perugia (63) last. One of these three (it is unlikely that all three will be eliminated) will be seeded in the first round of the National phase and their name will not be in the pot which will contain the other five.
