Today, at 4.30 pm, there will be the inauguration of the new spaces of the headquarters of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery of the Ravenna university campus at the Santa Maria alle Croci hospital. The President of the Cassa di Ravenna Antonio Patuelli and the President of the Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna Foundation Ernesto Giuseppe Alfieri express great satisfaction with the conclusion of the work.
“This is a fundamental stage – explains Professor Mirella Falconi Mazzotti, coordinator of the Degree course in Medicine and Surgery as well as president of the Flaminia Foundation – of a process started by the Cassa years ago together with the Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna Foundation and the Flaminia Foundation , having always believed in the centrality of the development of university campuses and courses for the city of Ravenna, to guarantee a future for the new generations and to give the city the highest and most strategic cultural institution in the absolute sense. And strategic in particular it is faculty of Medicine and Surgery, for young people, but also for the excellence of the service that doctors and surgeons guarantee to the city”.
President Alfieri adds the satisfaction of the Cassa di Risparmio di Ravenna Foundation “for having managed to provide the students of the Degree Course in Medicine and Surgery with a single, fully modern and functional location, in which they will have classrooms, study rooms in the same space and studies, in addition to the traditional laboratories and the long-functioning lecture hall, to constantly experience the life of the hospital throughout its educational journey. It is true that the level of well-being of a city is measured by the level of the hospitals and of healthcare, in Ravenna we can proudly say that this new structure will contribute to improving the prospects of healthcare in Romagna”.
Also present at the inauguration will be the Magnificent Rector of the University of Bologna Giovanni Molari, the prefect of Ravenna Castrese De Rosa, the mayor Michele de Pascale, the General Director of the Romagna AUSL Tiziano Carradori, and the President of the Order of Doctors of Ravenna Stefano Falcinelli
